Medical Office Clerk

Uniqcli for USGP is currently seeking a Medical Office Clerk to join our cleint's  team and support team in supporting the health and well-being of our military service members, veterans, and their families at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

 

Position Highlights:

Location: Camp Lejeune, NC & surrounding areas

Compensation: $17-25/hr + Health & Welfare Stipend

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (schedule may adjust per base needs) | No weekends or holidays

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent

 

Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association

 

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of office experience

 

Typing Speed: 50 WPM or higher

Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients and visitors at the front desk or information center

Answer and direct calls from the main office line; take messages as needed

Schedule and arrange medical appointments; verify patient eligibility

Provide basic patient instructions and referrals to appropriate departments

Maintain and update patient medical records; ensure records are complete and accurate

Retrieve and file documentation requested by healthcare providers

Create and manage appointment templates and schedules in the system

Conduct end-of-day procedures and resolve any pending or delinquent appointments

Perform general clerical and administrative duties to support patient care operations
