Marketing Intern

LOCATION: Alpharetta, GA 

INTERN PROGRAM: May 18, 2026 – August 7, 2026 

 

DESCRIPTION  

Mativ is currently searching for a Marketing Intern to join our team next summer. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to creative marketing. We are looking for a driven intern to support the Sustainable and Adhesive Solutions segment in the marketing department for our consumer and sustainable solutions businesses. 

The Mativ Summer Internship Program is scheduled to start on May 18, 2026 – August 7, 2026. Our paid internship offers a well-rounded experience including: meaningful work, dedicated intern manager, community service, professional development and more.  

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver product and marketing campaign assets that are creative, useful, and align with brand positioning and technical standards.  
  • Take ideas from concept to execution, working with project/product managers, marketing, design colleagues and agency partners to deliver an effective brand experience.  
  • Collaborate with marketing and agency teams to ensure design aesthetic aligns with the brand image, while also meeting usability and website standards. Ensure consistency in designs and content across all platforms.  
  • Prepare briefs for projects and present design ideas to relevant stakeholders. 
  • Review product positioning and online marketing content to identify room for optimization.  Evaluate the competitive marketplace and unlock unique rights to win. 
  • Conduct/participate in research including competitive analyses, social listening and pricing analysis. 
  • Support the design, production and management of digital / web-based content, including website, email templates and social media.  
  • Support creation of social media graphics and photography shoot scope of work.  

QUALIFICATIONS 

Required: 

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Digital Design, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing or a related field.   
  • Minimum GPA-3.0. 
  • Internship or work experience preferred 
  • Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrated) preferred  
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to balance multiple assignments at once 
  • Desire to make a strong contribution in a continuous learning environment, while enhancing their readiness for a full-time career
