AI Engineering Intern

Job Description: AI Engineering intern (Agentic AI – Privacy & Governance)

About the Role

We are seeking an AI Engineer to design and deploy agentic AI systems that power privacy and governance solutions. Your work will focus on building intelligent agents that automate data discovery, consent management, privacy governance, and compliance oversight, while integrating seamlessly with full-stack systems.
This role blends AI engineering, privacy expertise, and product development, offering exposure to Angular (frontend), Node.js/Express (backend), and cloud-native deployment.

Responsibilities

Develop autonomous AI agents that perform privacy and governance tasks such as:
Data discovery and classification across structured and unstructured data.
Consent management automation, including collection, tracking, and lifecycle governance.
Privacy governance workflows, such as control mapping, evidence generation, and reporting.
Architect and integrate AI agent pipelines with full-stack applications (Angular UI, Node.js/Express APIs).
Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, and reasoning modules to enhance agent intelligence.
Ensure AI systems are transparent, auditable, and aligned with global privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, MODPA, DPDPA).
Collaborate with legal, compliance, and engineering teams to design AI governance frameworks that embed accountability and trust.
Optimize agent systems for scalability, reliability, and multi-tenant SaaS architectures.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong programming skills in Python (AI/ML, agent development) and JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js, Angular).
Hands-on experience with AI agent frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel) and LLMs.
Knowledge of privacy, governance, and compliance frameworks.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), APIs, and microservices.
Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS) and retrieval pipelines.
Understanding of data security practices (access control, encryption, monitoring).

Preferred Skills

Experience in GRC, consent management platforms, or privacy tech.
Exposure to multi-agent collaboration systems and orchestration pipelines.
Contributions to open-source AI governance or privacy projects.(Edited)
