Job Description: We are seeking a motivated, skilled, and genuine Mental Health SUD Therapist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide empathic and effective mental health services to a diverse clientele. This position requires a strong commitment to professionalism and ethical practice. We are seeking a therapist with a limited license (LLMSW) or higher, who has prior experience working with individual struggling with alcoholism or substance addiction. Candidates must be licensed to practice in the state of Michigan and can choose to work completely remotely, partially in the office, or fully in person at our office in Chelsea, Michigan. Qualifications
- Must be a resident of Michigan.
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Master's degree or higher in social work or a related field from an accredited university.
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Master's Social Worker (LLMSW/LMSW) within the state of Michigan.
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and treatment planning.
- Strong assessment, crisis intervention, and case management skills, with the ability to formulate and implement effective treatment plans.
- The ability to work with diverse populations (e.g., varying age groups, personalities, cultural/ethnic backgrounds).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Must possess a computer with strong, reliable internet access.
- Experience with telehealth, including the ability to work in a private, quiet space with minimal background noise.
- Must carry Professional Liability Insurance.
