Insurance Sales Intern
Job Summary:
- Learn, understand and participate in the sales process with sales professionals and account managers by learning functions/activities to a sufficient level to assist as requested by sales professionals or account managers.
- Shadow our Sales Professionals to learn how the selling process works with significant exposure to various insurance products, policies and levels of coverage.
- Travel with sales professionals on sales and service calls and become knowledgeable enough to provide support for sales professionals as needed.
- Develop an understanding of the relationship between insurance agencies and insurance companies.
- Develop a hands-on understanding of superior customer service.
- Learn and participate in the operation of the agency. Attain sufficient knowledge to supplement activities of various positions within the agency.
- Participate in hands-on projects initiated by Executive Management.
Position Requirements:
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft products.
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited school/university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales or Marketing.
