Job Summary
IT ACCELERATED DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY & ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS
Embark on a journey in the IT Accelerated Development Program (IT ADP), designed for the best in Information Technology. This full-time opportunity serves as a launchpad to propel your career forward. Immerse yourself in our organization where teamwork is encouraged and celebrated!
Under the guidance of Raymond James leaders and resident experts, you will sharpen your skills in a specific fundamental discipline while engaging in development workshops, hands-on projects, peer learning and mentorship opportunities. Our holistic professional development approach will prepare you for roles within information security and enterprise technology solutions. As you navigate through the program, you’ll not only gain invaluable skills but also embody the vital cornerstones on which the technology team successfully operates. The IT ADP runs for twelve months. Upon successful completion of the program, work will continue within the assigned discipline area.
INFORMATION SECURITY
We’re looking for curious minds and quick thinkers to jump into the dynamic world of Information Security. As part of our team, you’ll be a frontline defender in safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information across the Raymond James enterprise. Whether you're responding to live cyber threats, supporting the design and operation of secure network infrastructure, or participating in risk assessments and compliance audits, you'll deepen your knowledge in different facets of Information Security such as Cyber Threat, Identity and Access Management, Network Security Operations, or Technology Risk and Assurance.
ENTERPRISE TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS
As part of Enterprise Technology Solutions, you’ll help build and support the technology foundation that powers Raymond James. From managing secure networks and cloud platforms to enabling collaboration tools and digital workflows, ETS ensures our systems are reliable, scalable, and secure. You’ll work alongside teams focused on infrastructure, end-user support, and service delivery—gaining hands-on experience in the core areas that keep our business running.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Specified projects and assignments, which may vary based on team alignment
Operates standard office equipment and is able to use required software applications
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of –
Foundational cybersecurity and risk concepts
Scripting and basic programming, such as Python and JavaScript.
Basic network security monitoring tools
Some automation techniques to effectively manage work
Basic concepts, principles, and practices of an assigned business unit
Fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a professional office environment
Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Skills
Fundamental concepts of Financial Services
Skill in –
Active participation/leadership in a professional, community or academic organization
Relevant internships and/or work experience in applicable school or industry organizations
Strong record of academic achievement and interest in Information Technology
Ability to demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Executing tasks on a timeline
Ability to –
Respond to incidents and manage risk
Communicate security and risk concepts clearly
Prioritize tasks and execute deliverables
Work independently as well as on a team

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Engineering, or applicable degree demonstrating technical aptitude.
Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources
Eligible applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (including beyond OPT/EAD).
