About Us
MycoSymbiotics Cooperative is a newly established, BIPOC-led national network of mushroom growers, processors, and educators building a regenerative mushroom economy. We create value-added mushroom products, host MycoFest (the oldest mushroom festival east of the Rockies), and envision a digital learning hub for mushroom education, cooperative business models, and regenerative agriculture.
Internship Overview
We are seeking a Web Development Intern to help develop and optimize our digital infrastructure. You’ll work on projects that directly impact our members, from establishing our website and member portal to developing SEO and integrating event registrations, e-commerce, and educational platforms.
Responsibilities
Improve cooperative website usability and member portal features.
Implement SEO best practices to boost online visibility.
Support development of the Mycosymbiotics Information Network (MIN).
Integrate e-commerce tools for mushroom products and subscriptions.
Assist with event registration systems for MycoFest and regional workshops.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, data, events) on digital projects .

Commitment

Fall 2025 semester
Ideal Candidate
Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS/e-commerce tools.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript.
Interest in sustainability, cooperative economics, or food systems is a plus.
Eager to learn and contribute to a growing national movement.
