As an intern, you will work closely with our senior team to support high-level financial strategies, assist in day-to-day accounting operations, and learn the ropes of tax compliance and planning.

As an intern, you will work closely with our senior team to support high-level financial strategies, assist in day-to-day accounting operations, and learn the ropes of tax compliance and planning. Responsibilities.
- Assist the Fractional CFO team in financial planning, forecasting, and analyzing cash flow.
- Help prepare and review basic financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Support the accounting department with data entry, account reconciliations, and month-end closing tasks.
- Contribute to tax-related projects, including organization of documents, research on current tax laws, and assistance in tax return preparation.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather and verify financial information.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions, providing fresh perspectives on process improvements.
- Perform general administrative duties, such as file management and document tracking.
Qualifications.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and a willingness to learn more complex concepts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
