Health and Wellness Project Management Intern

Aloha, future wellness teammates!

After a decade teaching in Shidler at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, I’m reaching back to my roots to find a few exceptional interns who want to help bring a health and wellness center to life.

Coach Consulting Services (CCS) is rebranding and expanding into a beautiful new space at 458 Manawai St., Mehana (Kapolei).

We’re gearing up for a grand opening on January 2, 2026, and we’d love your help getting there.

This isn’t a coffee-run gig. We’re looking for 2–3 interns to work about 15 hours per week (2–3 days). You’ll help build real systems for a real business—hands-on, week by week—with a focus on operations, rigor, and strategic growth.

What you’ll gain

» $1,000 stipend

» Mentorship from a local entrepreneur and former UH professor who knows the UH system

» Letter of recommendation upon successful completion » Potential future reimbursement for select wellness certifications (e.g., Certified Health Coach, CPT, Certified Behavioral Specialist) if you stay on and it’s a mutual fit

What we’re looking for

» Resourceful, organized students who care about health, fitness, and wellness

» Reliable transportation to the west side (west side applicants preferred)

» Interest in one of these focus areas:

» General Project Management (Operations): timelines, workflows, launch logistics

» Marketing & Social Media: content planning, posting, analytics, community engagement

» Technology/Systems: tools setup, integrations, light troubleshooting How to apply

Send your resume and a brief cover letter sharing your area(s) of interest and the unique skills or talents you’ll bring to the CCS team to coach@ccshawaii.com.

Let’s create a healthier way forward—together.

Warmly, Dr. Mikal White aka “Coach”
