We're currently seeking college students to join our volunteer team, with flexible opportunities for internships, job shadowing, and service learning across a variety of disciplines.
🌟 This Opportunity Is Ideal For Students Majoring In:
🎨 Art & Design, Art Therapy – Lead or assist with creative legacy projects like art journals, art therapy sessions, paintings, memory boxes, and more
🎵 Music & Music Therapy – Bring joy and peace through live music, legacy projects, playlist curation, or instrumental comfort
⛪ Religious Studies & Theology – Provide spiritual presence, prayer, or gentle reflection to patients and families of all faiths
🧠 Psychology, Social Work, Counseling – Practice therapeutic listening, empathy, and emotional support
🩺 Health Sciences, Pre-Med, Nursing, Public Health – Observe interdisciplinary care in action and gain patient-focused experience
📣 Marketing, Communications, Journalism – Assist with community outreach, storytelling, social media, and awareness projects
💼 Business, Administration & Human Services – Help with office operations and program coordination
👐 Volunteer Roles Include:
Direct Care Volunteer – Provide companionship and support to patients at home or in care facilities
Administrative Volunteer – Assist with office tasks, paperwork, and project planning
Music Companion Volunteer – Use music to connect with and comfort patients
Pet Companion Volunteer – Engage patients with your certified therapy animal
Veteran Volunteer – Support fellow veterans through shared experiences and understanding
Bereavement Volunteer – Help support families after the loss of a loved one
💬 Volunteer Activities May Include:
Sitting with patients and offering presence
Reading books or newspapers aloud
Sharing music, art, or hobbies
Helping create keepsake projects
Bringing flowers or sharing photos
Providing respite for family caregivers
