Buyside Deal Acquisition Internship
Caprae Capital Partners is a family office investment platform that is not a traditional PE fund — we are a tech-enabled business built to disrupt the private equity industry. We back searchers, operators, and founders while building long-term businesses directly within our ecosystem.
Why This Internship is Different
This role is designed for interns who want direct exposure to live deal-making on the buyside:
- You will be paid 5–10 hours per week for cold calling to source acquisition opportunities.
- Beyond calling, interns can expand into broader deal activities — gaining access to the full cycle of sourcing, evaluation, and execution.
Internship Overview
As a Buyside Deal Acquisition Intern, you will:
- Paid role (5–10 hours/week): Execute cold calls to business owners, intermediaries, and executives to generate deal flow.
- Sit in on seller meetings and observe live negotiations.
- Structure deals over the phone with oversight from senior team members.
- Work directly with the Managing Partner and outreach team to strategize daily sourcing campaigns.
- Collaborate with our in-house brokerage platform CLOVER, coordinating with buyers, sellers, and intermediaries.
- Team up with M&A advisers and business brokers to progress deals.
- Support general business development initiatives across Caprae’s platforms.
- Earn commission opportunities tied to sales and closed deals.
Who We’re Looking For
- Driven, confident communicators comfortable making cold calls.
- Analytical and curious individuals excited to learn how acquisitions actually get done.
- Students or early professionals seeking hands-on M&A experience while contributing to a disruptive investment platform.
High-performing interns may be invited to continue with Caprae in expanded roles across deal sourcing, analysis, and portfolio growth. You will also have the option (not required, and not paid) to participate in training programs covering due diligence, research, financial modeling, and lead generation - skills that expand your M&A toolkit if you want to grow beyond calling.Caprae Capital Partners is a family office investment platform that is not a traditional PE fund — we are a tech-enabled business built to disrupt the private equity industry.
