As our Intern, you will:

  • Compile DCF underwriting in both Argus and Excel to assist with multi‐year planning, hold‐sell decisions, financings, leasing, and value‐add strategies
  • Prepare Investment Committee presentations for financings, leasing, and dispositions
  • Analyse leasing opportunities and sensitivities via ARGUS, NPV analyses, and market research 
  • Proactively identify opportunities to provide additional analysis/recommendations to add value to your respective AM/PM
  • Lead external appraisal process and complete internal valuations, while working across several in‐house departments, including transactions and research 
  • Support the transition of newly acquired properties from the Transactions group and the Portfolio / Asset Management group
  • Develop in-house tools for both, commercial and residential assets, to increase efficiency 
  • Review of Asset Management reports for purposes of confirming NRA, occupancy, carrying value and net operating income
  • Prepare annual property business plans and review of quarterly reporting
  • Prepare Annual Investment Plans and development of Hold/Sell or MAP Recommendations

 

The Team is looking for:

  • Organized, be able to multi‐task, and communicate effectively
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Strong work ethics and critical thinking skills
  • Relevant coursework, internship or work experience in Real Estate would be beneficial, but isn’t essential

Start Date:

Salary:

The salary range for this position is $100,000 prorated. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation, or any other type of renumeration. 

 

Eligibility Criteria:        

  • Must be enrolled and on track to graduate from a Bachelors or Masters degree in 2027. 
  • Must have less than 12 months of full-time relevant work experience (excluding internships)
  • Must be available to work full-time (including a minimum of 3 days per week in the office) during the duration of the internship
  • Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and will not require work visa sponsorship from DWS, now or in the future, to retain authorization to work in the United States
