Cerberus Capital Management: Cerberus Asset Backed Opportunities Platform (“CABO”) Junior Step Program

About Cerberus Capital Management:

Founded in 1992, Cerberus is a global leader in alternative investing with approximately $67 billion in assets across complementary credit, private equity, and real estate strategies. For more information about our people and platforms, visit us at www.cerberus.com.

The Cerberus Asset Backed Opportunities (“CABO”) investment platform was established in 2008 to capitalize on distress in the residential mortgage sector following the Global Financial Crisis. Over the past decade, the CABO platform has continued to build upon its expertise in residential debt and has evolved to earn recognition as an innovator and market leader in securitizing performing residential loans and investing in SFR and other consumer credit and asset-based finance. The CABO platform currently manages over $20 billion and leverages three proprietary operating platforms (an asset manager, property manager, and originator) to execute its investment strategies.

Our Asset Backed Opportunities strategy seeks to maximize absolute return through a combination of capital appreciation and current income, investing primarily in mortgages, loans, consumer credit and real assets.

As a CABO Junior Step intern, you will have the opportunity to work across one or more of three verticals: Investment Analysis, Quantitative Analysis, and Fundraising/Investor Relations. You will have direct access to senior leadership, including portfolio managers and investment principals. Our summer internship is designed to transition strong performers into full-time roles upon graduation.
