Are you a current College Student looking to start your career with the State? Then look no further because the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) is looking for future leaders to move our organization forward. 

As a Student Assistant, you will learn to: 

  • Assist taxpayers to ensure compliance with tax laws and collect delinquent taxes.
  • Review taxpayer account history to determine appropriate action to be taken. 
  • Perform skip tracing activities. 
  • Set up payment arrangements, and bill, cancel, or adjust amounts due.
  • Provide advisory services verbally and in writing in response to inquiries regarding the various tax and fee programs administered by CDTFA.
