This position is with our Adhesive Technologies business unit – where we empower our people to transform industries and provide our customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants and functional coatings.

What you’ll do  

Gain hands-on experience in quality control and assurance processes within a manufacturing environment 

Strengthen problem-solving skills through training in root cause analysis tools and methodologies 

Support improvements in raw material quality control to drive First Time Right (FTR) increases 

Contribute to reducing off-grade rates through enhanced quality control practices 

Assist in implementing Critical to Quality (CTQ) standards to ensure compliance with minimum requirements 

Participate in batch management improvements for raw materials 

What makes you a good fit  

An undergraduate student graduating in 2027, a master’s / graduate student or MBA student pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry or Quality Management/Engineering 

Strong communication skills across all organizational levels 

Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies and quality tools 

Proficient in Microsoft Excel; basic knowledge of Power BI for data visualization 

Motivated by continuous improvement and operational excellence 

Understanding of chemical processes and operation of chemical testing instruments

Additional information  

This internship is NOT eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support.  

Henkel’s Summer 2026 internship program starts on May 27th, 2026, and runs through mid-August.   

Recruitment for our 2026 internships starts in late August 2025 and runs through early March 2026 or until all our positions are filled.

The salary for this role is $22-$27/hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
