General Job Description:
The Program Coordinator role entails responsible technical work involving analytical and data collection, monitoring, to assist and promote the strategic planning of Pasco County Fire Rescue, Community Risk Reduction Bureau, and Mobile Integrated Health Unit. This is a grant funded position.
Essential Job Functions: The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated leadership and hands-on experience in gathering data requirements, data mining, multi-source data engineering, and warehousing; performing Structured Query Language (SQL) queries, performing data analysis; performance measurement and benchmarking; creating Business Intelligence (Bl) visualizations and reporting. The ideal candidate will also have a thorough understanding of Pasco County Fire Rescue administrative and operational requirements. The ideal candidate will compile data collection for reporting purposes as directed. Performs other related work as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Captures business intelligence requirements by conducting interviews; capturing business analytics questions; and defining key data, performance indicators, and competitive benchmarks.
- Performs and leads data validation and profiling using appropriate tools to identify, document, understand, and correct data quality issues or anomalies.
- Resolves data quality issues by making recommendations to data owners and working with database administrators to implement solutions.
- Recommends workflow and service delivery changes, procedure changes, new policies and data capture options for data needs to fulfill Bl needs.
- Performs and leads in creation of Bl dashboards, KPls and Bl reports that meet the needs and expectations of customers.
- Collects, organizes, and maintains accurate data related to MIH interventions, client outcomes, and community risk indicators.
- Performs and leads in the accomplishment of special projects and other duties as assigned to meet team, department, and organizational goals.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to perform and lead requirements gathering for data analytics.
- Ability to identify and address Bl data, visualization, and reporting needs.
- General SQL skills and understanding.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and relational database concepts.
- Excellent analytical and forecasting skills.
Minimum Requirements:
PHYSICAL SKILLS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written, and visual communication. Ability to bend, stretch, stoop, kneel, reach and climb frequently.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, English, Public Administration, or a related field and two (2) years of related experience. Experience using a computer utilizing various software programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Windows-based programs).
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS: Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver's license.
