Accountant / Financial Analyst Intern

We are seeking a motivated Accountant-Financial Analyst Intern to join our team in the Albany, NY area📍. This role is a prime opportunity for an ambitious individual to transition from a freshly graduated, entry-level position to a more advanced role, taking on greater responsibility in TEAM AVALORIA (long-term position after internship). You will be challenged to apply your existing skills while developing new expertise in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

-Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

-Reconcile complex accounts and resolve discrepancies.

-Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and procedures.

-Support audit preparations by providing necessary documentation and analysis.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

-1-3 years of professional experience in a financial or accounting role.

-Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

-Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas).

-Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Experience in a Big Four accounting firm (Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG) is a valuable plus.
