Intern - Summer 2026

LCW CPAs, a rapidly growing Merrimack Valley CPA firm, is currently seeking to add several Interns and staff to our team due to sustained growth.

As an Intern, You Will:

  • Work as a member of our team of Associates, being treated as an associate. 
  • Develop an understanding of firm concepts and what places us above other firms, including our ‘one-firm’ concept.
  • Be enthusiastic about client needs and provide prompt service.
  • Work to develop a comprehensive approach to understanding the client, and their business' needs.
  • Develop self-confidence with client communication and other staffs' confidence in your professional abilities.
  • Develop an understanding of the nature of work, understand and differentiate between the different levels of the A&A team, tax planning and compliance, and management advisory services.
  • Complete specific assignments, alongside other associates and managers, in a technically competent manner within allotted time.
  • Communicate opportunities and room for personal growth to seniors or semi-seniors on a timely basis (in writing, when appropriate).
  • Improve audit and accounting knowledge and techniques including awareness and understanding of all professional standards.
  • Develop proficient organizational skills using automation - MS Office suite, paperless workpapers, time and billing system, tax return and audit software, etc.
  • Foot and proofread financial statements.
  • Develop personal and professional goals and periodically re-evaluate them to measure progress.
