RENNER Ministries exists to take the Gospel to the nations through television, books, online platforms, and digital content. Our team is passionate about creating high-quality materials that inspire, inform, and encourage believers worldwide.

We are seeking a Content Writer Intern to join our marketing and content team. This is an incredible opportunity to develop your writing, editing, and storytelling skills while learning how to craft content that connects with people across multiple platforms.

Position Overview

As a Content Writer Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience creating content for social media, email campaigns, blogs, newsletters, and articles. You will also assist in proofreading and finalizing written materials, ensuring every piece reflects RENNER Ministries’ voice and mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Write engaging social media posts for multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
  
   
• Assist in crafting email campaigns and newsletters that encourage partner engagement.
  
   
• Support the team by drafting articles and devotionals for renner.org and partner resources.
  
   
• Brainstorm creative captions, hooks, and titles to improve audience interaction.
  
   
• Collaborate with the content team to edit and finalize written materials for publication.
  
   
• Ensure all written pieces align with RENNER Ministries’ brand voice, tone, and message.
  
   
• Assist in proofreading TV program summaries, graphics, and promotional materials.
  
   
• Work closely with designers, video editors, and other content creators to ensure messaging consistency across platforms.
  
   
• Assist in preparing content calendars, outlines, and draft approval documents.
  
   
• Use Asana and Google Drive to organize and track projects effectively.
  
   
• Conduct research to support article writing and campaign messaging.
  
   
• Help identify trends and opportunities to grow audience engagement through content.
  
   

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  
   
• Strong writing and grammar skills with attention to detail.
  
   
• Ability to adapt writing style to different formats and platforms.
  
   
• A passion for storytelling and using written content to encourage and inspire others.
  
   
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing is a plus (training provided).
  
   
• Alignment with the mission and values of RENNER Ministries.

Schedule & Compensation

• Schedule: Flexible. Our ministry's office hours are 8am-5pm M-F.
• Location: On-site at our Broken Arrow location.
