About the Role
We’re seeking passionate, dedicated Elementary Teachers (K–5) to join our team at Gwinnett County Public Schools. In this role, you’ll create a supportive classroom environment that fosters intellectual, social, and emotional growth while delivering engaging instruction aligned with the district’s Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS) curriculum.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (required)

Valid Georgia teaching certification in appropriate field

Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred)

Previous teaching experience preferred

Strong communication, classroom management, and instructional skills

What You’ll Do

Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with AKS curriculum

Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly

Integrate technology and research-based instructional practices

Create a positive, organized, and inclusive classroom environment

Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues

Participate in professional development and contribute to school goals
