USDA - Biological Science Aid
The Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is the U.S. Department of Agriculture's chief scientific in-house research agency. Their job is finding solutions to agricultural problems that affect Americans every day from field to table.
Major responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to: Dry, grind, and weigh out soil and plant samples for nutrient and/or pesticide extraction; log samples in spreadsheets; conduct basic soil property tests (e.g. aggregate stability); assist in field sample collection; clean glassware utilized in laboratory sample preparation
