Founded in June 2017, Mode One LLC was formed to provide a trustworthy and transparent 3rd Party Logistics Freight Service for customers. Offering competitive, yet fair rates, and being honest with our carriers, has allowed our organization to grow within the logistics industry. What we do?
Based out of our Cincinnati, Ohio office, you will serve as a liaison (Broker) between shippers and carriers to secure the transportation of goods. Upon completion of our training program, you will be expected to attract and connect new customers with freight carriers, grow your customer base, and genuinely care about being a positive contributor throughout the process. Responsibilities
- Negotiate rates with customers and carriers for a variety of transportation services, including FTL, LTL, Drayage and Intermodal.
- Utilize the Transportation Management System regularly, and ensure that all data has been entered timely and accurately
- Maintain clear and professional communication with customers to provide updates and resolve inquiries
- Manage day-to-day operations of accounts
- Collaborate alongside team members
- Assist with billing and compliance, as needed
- Additional responsibilities assigned as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in customer service
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination and negotiation with various clients and stakeholders
- Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Logistics Industry
