West Monroe is seeking Consulting Interns to join our Enterprise Strategy & Execution team within our Operations Excellence (OpEx) Practice. In this role, interns leverage their business and technology acumen to guide the transformation of our clients across their COO, CFO, and CIO organizations. These projects typically involve developing current-state assessments, strategy and business cases, or managing the implementation of large-scale transformations.
As an Enterprise Strategy & Execution Consulting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience applying IT and business expertise to help clients develop strategies that align with organizational goals while balancing costs and risks. Your work will cover key areas such as systems integration, enterprise applications and infrastructure, operating and delivery models, digital/cloud adoption and transformation, business transformation office, and program and portfolio management.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to understand clients’ business needs, current processes, and future requirements through interviews, documentation review, and facilitated workshops
- Document discussions with clients and internal teams by actively listening, note-taking, and applying critical thinking
- Gather and document functional and technical requirements for technology components, IT services, business processes, and commercial software applications
- Define key performance indicators, along with their associated data sources, calculations, and validation approaches
- Assist in developing analytical frameworks, structuring quantitative analysis, defining data requirements, and documenting assumptions for cost assessments and future-state projections
- Support the development of new modeling approaches and data analysis techniques for clients, including:
- Collecting, organizing, cleansing, and manipulating large datasets
- Creating and presenting business cases and financial models
- Developing and documenting improvement recommendations, roadmaps, and execution workplans
- Analyze data to identify trends, compile reports, and monitor results
- Collaborate with clients and team members to develop storyboards and present complex concepts creatively, ensuring deliverable content is clear and compelling

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in progress, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and July 2027
- Intern candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without limitation or sponsorship now or in the future (e.g., OPT, H-1B visa, TN, etc.)
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Must reside within 50 miles of your assigned office before your start date and throughout the internship; our culture emphasizes team collaboration within a hybrid work model
- Ability and willingness to travel Monday – Thursday (up to 50%); travel expenses covered by West Monroe
