After School Yoga Instructor
Help Kids Build Balance, Confidence & Calm Through Yoga!
Location: Multiple Bay Area Locations (East Bay, South Bay, Peninsula)
Salary: $30–$40/hour
Type: Part-time
Schedule: Weekdays | 2–5 hours/week
Do you love yoga and enjoy working with kids? We’re looking for compassionate and enthusiastic After-School Yoga Instructors to lead calming, fun yoga classes for students across the Bay Area.
What You’ll Do:
- Teach age-appropriate yoga classes (8–10 students) using provided lesson plans
- Teach using provided lesson plans and help create a positive and engaging environment for students aged 5–10
- Transport and set up mats and other yoga materials
- Take attendance, sign students in/out, and communicate with parents and staff
- Capture session highlights with photos
- Attend unpaid training/shadowing sessions to learn our program structure
Bonus: We are especially seeking coaches who can teach more than one sport — including Tennis Dance, Basketball, Pickleball, Soccer, PE Teacher/Olympic Hopes and Floor Hockey!
Requirements:
- 19+ years old with reliable Bay Area transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Yoga experience (teaching or personal practice) preferred, but not required
- Enjoy working with kids and managing a classroom in a calm, professional way
- Flexible, reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic with strong communication skills
- Must pass a live scan background check and be fully vaccinated
