Refunds will be issued by the Bursar's Office the Wednesday following the disbursement. The current scholarship amount is $1,500 per semester.

To Apply

Undergraduate students who are interested in becoming an SI Leader should first secure a faculty referral. Faculty can email their referral to Sarah Morris (smorri85@utm.edu), Assistant Director of Student Success Services and/or Amanda Mansfield (amansfi4@utm.edu), Learning Commons Coordinator. After a faculty referral is secured, students can apply via Handshake with their resume and a brief cover letter including the subject of which they are applying to be an SI Leader.

Upon review of the faculty referral, resume, and cover letter, students who qualify will be emailed additional application requirements and be scheduled for an interview.
