Director of Commercial Strategy & Partnerships

📍 Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid) | ⚡ Skibo Energy

Skibo Energy is pioneering thermal energy storage (TES) to unlock the full value of renewables. Through resilient neighborhood energy centers and (TES for power plants, data centers, and industry — we are building scalable, storage-first technology that enables decarbonization and reliability.

We’re hiring a Director of Commercial Strategy & Partnerships to define and drive our commercialization path. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a Master’s degree and 5–7 years’ experience who is ready to grow into leadership roles as the company scales.

What You’ll Do

Shape and refine Skibo’s go-to-market and partnership strategies

Build relationships with utilities, EPCs, developers, and community partners

Support pilot projects, licensing, and commercialization frameworks

Represent Skibo in industry forums and with policymakers

Collaborate with leadership to align technical progress with adoption

What We’re Looking For

Master’s degree or higher (MBA, engineering management, policy, or related)

5–7 years in commercial, BD, or partnerships roles in energy, infrastructure, or tech

Strong foundation in technology adoption, licensing, or commercialization

Entrepreneurial mindset; thrives in dynamic, early-stage settings

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
