Quality Engineer

About the Role
Analog Devices (ADI) is seeking a motivated Quality Engineer to support our Front-End Manufacturing Quality efforts. This position offers valuable exposure to quality management systems, semiconductor manufacturing processes, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll work on impactful projects that enhance product quality and operational efficiency, while continuing to develop your technical and professional skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams on continuous improvement projects.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and assist in implementing Quality Management System (QMS) processes.
  • Participate in problem-solving teams and contribute to technical reports and documentation.
  • Apply knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and quality standards to ensure product excellence.
  • Present technical findings and accomplishments to engineering and management teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
  • Understanding of semiconductor fabrication and/or device physics is preferred.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Statistical Process Control (SPC) is a plus.
  • Exposure to problem-solving tools such as 8D, DMAIC, 5-Why, or Fishbone analysis is beneficial.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Proven leadership and effective oral communication skills.
  • Understanding of root cause corrective action (RCCA).
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems such as ISO9001, AS9100, and related standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong engineering skills in machining, tolerancing, interpreting source control drawings, and general electrical engineering.
  • Ability to implement problem-solving plans using tools such as Pareto analysis, cause and effect diagrams, FMEA, and control plans to ensure high-quality product outcomes.
