Business Development Intern
Responsibilities:
Support in efforts by assisting primary business development staff in a wide range of activities.
Research new opportunities through web-based applications,
Conduct initial qualification screening on opportunities,
follow up on status of identified opportunities
Researching potential business partners,
Prepare PowerPoint briefings,
Update information into spreadsheets, maintain contact lists, and schedule calls and meetings.
Support capture planning and execution
Support proposal planning and execution.
Work to build positive business relationships with clients, potential clients, and partners during the execution of
the above activities.
Qualifications:
▪ Perusing a bachelor’s degree with a major in Business and Minor in English preferred (or in process of
obtaining)
▪ Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
▪ Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
▪ Detail-oriented and good organizational skills.
▪ Ability to execute internet based research
▪ The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
▪ Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative team setting
▪ Motivation to learn and grow
▪ Familiarity with SharePoint desired
▪ Familiarity with government contracting desired
▪ Familiarity with FedBizOpps and GovWin desired
