About the Job:

We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to support our communications efforts with and on behalf of local manufacturers. Candidates should be current college students or equivalent.  The marketing internship is a paid hourly position. Supervisors can fill out any and all paperwork required by your college for course credits.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Supporting and/or deploying Social media marketing
• Creating and deploying targeted email marketing
• Collecting business intelligence, performing market research
• Updating the company customer relationship management systems (specifically, HubSpot)
• Creating content for email messaging, blog
• Generating reports on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives
• Creating or iterating on collateral materials
• Logistics, promotional support of events

Desired Education and Experience:
• Solid understanding of different marketing channels, techniques
• Ability to take direction, absorb information and work independently
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PPT, Excel)
• Familiarity with marketing software / platforms (HubSpot experience preferred but not required)
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
Preference for candidates currently enrolled in a related BS or Masters program or equivalent experience.
