Admissions/Sales & Marketing Intern

Join our team as an Admissions/Sales & Marketing Intern and gain hands-on experience in healthcare admissions, marketing, and community outreach. Position Summary:
The Admissions/Sales & Marketing Intern will gain hands-on experience in healthcare admissions, census development, community outreach, and marketing strategies. This internship is designed for students interested in healthcare administration, business, marketing, or a related field. The intern will support the Admissions team in connecting with prospective residents, families, referral sources, and community partners, while developing skills in relationship-building, communication, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Admissions and Marketing team with resident inquiries, tours, and admission coordination.
  • Shadow and support the Director of Admissions in building relationships with hospitals, physicians, and referral sources.
  • Participate in community outreach events and help represent the organization to external partners.
  • Assist in creating and distributing marketing materials, social media posts, and community engagement campaigns.
  • Track, organize, and analyze admissions and referral data to support census development goals.
  • Learn and support the admissions process, including documentation, compliance requirements, and communication with families.
  • Collaborate with leadership on special projects, including resident experience initiatives and community awareness campaigns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the Admissions/Sales & Marketing team.

Qualifications:

  • Current junior or senior status college student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
  • Interest in healthcare, long-term care, or senior living preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
