Merchandising Intern, Beauty Industry

We are looking for a Merchandising Intern to join our Sales Strategy team. This person would be responsible for providng overall administrative support to the sales strategy team. This includes creative and support of Go-To-Market presentations, meeting preparation, competitive analysis, trend reporting, linesheets, and so forth.
Location: 111 West 33rd Street, New York, NY 10120
Pay: $16.50 Per Hour
Schedule: Flexible and per student schedule. 2-3 days per week in-office, 4-8 hours per day.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete a competitive analysis project to include trend, product, price, and asset research
- Assist with creating and update Go To Market presentations
- Assist with meeting preparation - internal and retailer meetings
- Assist with cross-functional projects related to beauty (marketing, creative, design, visual merchandising)
- Organize sample closet and execute sample requests
- Help prepare linesheets
- Provide overall admin support for the Sales Strategy Team
- Assist in daily projects (research, organizing, compiling reports)
Qualifications/Requirements
- Currently enrolled in college or university
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for the beauty industry
- Adobe Photoshop Experience – a plus but not required
- Strong computer skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to commute into NYC Midtown Office
