TAB Engineering Intern
Summary:
In this supportive role to the TAB Manager, TAB Engineer, and Field Supervisor, the individual will be provided a solid learning experience coupled with hands on training that will allow for growth during the time at The Hill Group.
Disciplines to Learn and Responsibilities:
- Functionality of the Penta Operations System
- Create and setup balancing jobs
- Learn all disciplines of the Hill Group offerings.
- Attend Weekly Aero TAB Meetings
- Attend Vendor sponsored Lunch & Learns.
- Learn to read and interpret design documents and prints
- Learn the estimate tools
- Become familiar with TAB report creation and review.
- Perform a site walk thru with a TAB Engineer to survey a job in progress.
- Create an estimate for a small balancing job.
- Assist with estimating larger balancing jobs
- Utilize templates to create balancing proposals
- Assist in creating a TAB quoted job once job has been awarded
- Assist the TAB Engineer in day to day activities including job reviews, estimates, and customer interaction
- Perform survey with TAB Engineer to gather information for the creation of a TAB estimate.
- Accompany TAB Engineer when interacting with customer for job review, proposal presentation, and test report review.
