Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS) employs a civilian workforce of top professionals to safely overhaul, repair, and modernize the U.S. Navy's nuclear-powered attack submarine fleet, specifically Los Angeles and Virginia-class submarines. PNS is located at the southern tip of Maine and has a detachment in San Diego California.  We are looking for the following disciplines: Mechanical, Structural, Chemical, Nuclear and Electrical Engineering, Metallurgical, Materials and Welding Engineering.  Applicants must be a United States Citizen and ability to maintain a security clearance is required.
