Role: Google News Journalist 📢
As part of our Google News Team, you will:
- Cover Trending Stories: You’ll be assigned news stories directly from Google News trends by your editor.
- Timely Reporting: Write compelling, short-form articles within 2–3 days of assignment, ensuring stories stay relevant while they’re in the public eye.
- Audience Engagement: Craft content that resonates with Gen-Z readers, connecting current events with cultural relevance.

Who We’re Looking For
- We want driven, creative individuals who:
- Have a strong interest in journalism and digital media.
- Can identify and write about stories that appeal to 18–25 year olds.
- Are able to produce content quickly and accurately (within 48–72 hours of assignment).
- Want to build experience in news writing, digital storytelling, and media production.
Internship Details
- Start Date: October 16, 2025
- Duration: Six months
- Format: Remote (just bring your laptop and Wi-Fi)
- Commitment: One article per week based on trending Google News topics
- Compensation: Unpaid (with the possibility of academic credit and future paid opportunities with our sister company, based on performance)
