What You’ll Do!
Join our team as a Youth Development Professional and help lead fun, meaningful, and mission-driven programming for the Boys & Girls Club of Lincoln/Lancaster County this fall!
Under the direction of the Program Director, you’ll be responsible for implementing engaging programs that support our core goals: Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles for middle school and high school students in Lincoln, NE. You’ll serve as a role model, demonstrating honesty, respect, and responsibility, and help create a safe, positive environment where every student feels valued and inspired.
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, mission-focused, and skilled at building strong relationships with youth, volunteers, and fellow staff.
What We Offer!
- Competitive Pay - $14.00 an hour

Available Hours
Part-time | Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 7:00 PM
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience implementing programs that nurture youth potential and managing others preferred.
- Flexible to accommodate your schedule, working up to 20 hours weekly.
- An understanding and knowledge of the mission and objectives of Boys & Girls Clubs.
- Carry out daily programs, activities, instruction, and procedures with minimal supervision.
- Contribute to creating a positive Club environment that facilitates the achievement of youth development outcomes: Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship, Healthy Lifestyles, and Promotion of Program Key Focus Areas.
- Communicate effectively and exhibit excellent relationship-building skills with students, parents, and BGC staff and management.
- Demonstrated ability to critically assess situations, solve problems, work effectively under stress, within deadlines, and in emergencies.
- Reliable transportation to and from work, and to program locations.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Successful completion of a background investigation is required.
