Seasonal Retail Associate (February Only)
About the Role
We are opening a seasonal retail store in MSP Airport for the month of February. We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable team members to join our staff. As a Seasonal Retail Associate, you will help with customer service, stocking, checkout, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for travelers.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced setting, have great communication skills, and can work flexible shifts.
Schedule & Hours
The store will operate:
Hours: 6:00 AM – 9:00 PM, 7 days a week
Shifts: Staggered shifts with overlap for coverage
Morning: 6:00 AM – 10:30 AM
Midday: 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Afternoon: 2:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Evening/Closing: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Weekly Hours:
Each team member will be scheduled 15–20 hours per week
Employees will be scheduled for 3–4 shifts per week
One person will open alone for the first 30 minutes (6:00–6:30 AM), but otherwise employees will work in pairs for coverage
Two employees will always be scheduled together at closing (4:00–9:00 PM)
Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service to airport travelers
Stock, organize, and maintain product displays
Assist with checkout and payment processing
Maintain cleanliness and order in the store
Follow airport retail guidelines and security procedures
Qualifications
Prior retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Dependable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Ability to work in a secure airport environment (badging process may be required)
