Summer Intern: Service Project Engineer
Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Service Sales Department for the summer. This role will provide an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced service-oriented environment. The intern will work closely with Account Managers, Service Coordinators, and the Service Operations team to support various sales and administrative tasks while building strong relationships with both internal teams and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Communication & Relationship Building: Establish and maintain regular communication with both internal teams and external customers to help foster strong working relationships and ensure smooth operations.
- Sales Support: May assist with processing estimates, proposals, and sales orders for planned maintenance agreements, repairs, and replacements, to help support Account Managers.
- Product/Equipment Submittals: Assist with processing product and equipment submittals when required for customer records and approval.
- Collaboration with Service Operations: Work closely with the Service Operations team to ensure timely delivery of client deliverables.
- Various project support as needed.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a relevant academic program (e.g., Engineering, Business, Sales, Operations, or related field)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Prior internship or work experience in a customer-facing or sales-support role is a plus
