USDA - Physical Science Technician

The Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is the U.S. Department of Agriculture's chief scientific in-house research agency. Their job is finding solutions to agricultural problems that affect Americans every day from field to table.

Major responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to: 1- Prepare grains, nut, and poultry meat samples for measurements 2- Take dielectric measurements and compile data for analysis 3- Determine quality attributes of measured samples with standard methods 4- Assemble, test, and calibrate microwave circuits for use in conjunction with microwave sensor prototype 5-Use statistical techniques and AI-based algorithms to analyze compiled data
