Responsibilities

This is not a direct dealership sales or service role, Instead, you will serve as a crucial corporate enabler, bridging the gap between our overarching company vision and the on-the-ground success of our independent dealer partners.
You will be instrumental in providing strategic guidance, developing innovative programs, and offering comprehensive support that equips our dealers with the tools, knowledge, and insights they need to thrive in a competitive market. Your work will have a profound impact across our entire ecosystem, influencing dealer performance, enhancing brand reputation, and ultimately contributing to our shared legacy of excellence.
As a Field Zone Manager, you will focus on:
• Strategic Partnership & Business Optimization: Act as a trusted corporate advisor to dealer principals and their leadership teams, providing insights and best practices to optimize all facets of their business operations, including financial management, capitalization strategies, and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Performance Analysis & Growth Enablement: Utilize comprehensive data analytics to assess dealer sales and overall ownership performance against corporate benchmarks. You will identify key trends, provide guidance on sales metrics and forecasting, and collaboratively develop action plans to achieve desired outcomes and sustained growth
• Program Development & Implementation: Design, develop, and roll out corporate initiatives and programs aimed at enhancing dealer profitability, operational efficiency, and customer loyalty. This includes facilitating product training, providing strategic merchandising & advertising support, and implementing robust customer service programs
• Process Excellence & Improvement: Lead and support dealers in process analysis, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and elevate the overall customer experience
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various internal corporate departments, including Sales, Marketing, Service, Parts, Finance, and IT, to ensure seamless integration of corporate strategies and comprehensive support for the dealer network
• Market Intelligence & Adaptation: Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and consumer behavior to provide actionable insights back to corporate leadership and proactively advise dealers on adapting their strategies to market dynamics
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with dealers, fostering an environment of mutual trust and shared objectives, ensuring they feel fully supported by our corporate team, Dealer Sales and Ownership Performance
Your Onboarding & Development Journey:
Your journey with Ford begins with a comprehensive training program based in Dearborn, MI. During this immersive experience, you will learn the fundamental principles of becoming a Zone Manager and gain a deep understanding of Ford Motor Company's operations and our strategic approach to dealer partnerships. This program combines in-classroom learning with valuable field experience, including travel to dealerships across the country, providing you with a holistic view of our network. Upon successful completion of this foundational training, you will be strategically placed in one of our 21 Regions across the United States, ready to apply your expertise and contribute directly to our dealer network's success.

Minimum Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in the following fields of study: Business-related (Marketing, Supply Chain, Management, Economics, Finance, Communication, Hospitality Business).
o Minimum Overall GPA 3.0
• 0-3 years of relevant professional experience post-graduation (if applicable)
• Relocation: Must be willing and able to relocate to one of our 21 Regions, both now and in the future
• Travel Commitment: Must be willing to travel up to 4+ days/week, including long drives (approx. four-hour drive radius, 100+ miles) with potential overnight stays and air travel (i.e., Tues-Fri)
o Zones may require flying weekly
• Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid and unrestricted driver's license
• Availability: Must be available for full-time employment in the United States by December 2025 OR September 2026
