Environmental Specialist

Our customer, the best choice employer in the utility construction business is hiring within their Professional Services Group in Tampa, FL.  The candidate shall possess considerable design and construction experience with supplemental coursework. S/he can expect to assist design engineers and managers with all facets of a project including conceptual / feasibility evaluations, preparation of design reports, field work, inspection, development of contract documents, bidding assistance, and support of construction engineering services. The applicant must be highly adaptable, willing to work in a performance and deadline driven environment and be able to learn new concepts quickly. Familiarity working with local, state and national agencies (EPA, Army Corp, ect.)   in acquiring environmental permits

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or similar discipline 
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience
  • Academic coursework tailored towards environmental engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus 
  • Microsoft Suite (Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
