Social Media/ Channel Support Intern
The Virginia Beach Communications department is a full-service agency providing strategic and tactical communication solutions for citywide departmental-level initiatives. The department is in search of a Multimedia Communications Intern to specialize as a Social Media/Channel Support Intern.
Duties:
- Support the planning, drafting, and publishing of social media content
- Assist with content calendars, engagement monitoring, and performance tracking
- Help design digital assets for campaigns
- Collaborate with staff to expand the City’s digital presence

Required Education: Candidates seeking a degree in Communications, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, or related fields. Familiarity with social media platforms, analytics, and content design preferred.
