Research & Development Intern

Corporate R&D Internship Program – Make an Impact at Niagara!

At Niagara, we’re inviting talented students to join our Summer Internship Program — a hands-on experience designed to launch your career in research, product development, and technical excellence.

 

Interns spend the summer working directly on high-impact projects within one of our HQ business operations departments. You’ll be immersed in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your creativity, analytical thinking, and passion for innovation will help drive strategic initiatives across the organization. During this 12-week internship, participants are encouraged to think critically and use a continuous improvement mindset to approach challenges and deliver results. Interns gain hands-on experience in work related to their field of study.

 

Now Hiring Interns in these Departments:

  • R&D – Support product innovation through research, testing, and development of new technologies and materials.
  • Quality – Help ensure product integrity and compliance through data analysis, audits, and process improvements.
  • Packaging Development – Contribute to the design and testing of sustainable, efficient, and consumer-friendly packaging solutions.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally on meaningful R&D and technical projects.
  • Conduct research, analyze data, and test hypotheses to support product and process innovation. 
  • Present finding and recommendations to department leaders. 
  • Gain exposure to real-world business challenges in product development and quality assurance.

  • Current Juniors/Rising Seniors pursuing a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering, Packaging, Materials Science, Food Science, or related field.
