AI & Machine Learning Internship Talent Community - Summer 2026

Program Overview:

McKesson’s Intern program is 10–12 weeks long and is designed to provide:

• A real-life working environment

Role Summary:

As an intern within AI & Machine Learning at McKesson, you will gain hands-on experience applying machine learning and data science techniques to solve real-world business challenges in healthcare. Interns will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy models that drive insights and optimize operations across areas such as pricing, demand forecasting, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets to uncover patterns and relationships across business parameters
• Design, develop, and test machine learning models and algorithms
• Perform statistical analysis and model tuning based on test results
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand business needs
• Document and present findings through visualizations, reports, and clean code

General Requirements:

• Enrolled as a full-time student at the time of the internship
• Must have completed a minimum of 75 credit hours by the start of the internship
• 18 years of age or older
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Major in a technical, business, or analytics discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science)
• Superior collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to manage priorities effectively
