Marketing Intern

MARKETING INTERN

Title: Marketing Intern (Part-Time)
FLSA Classification: Non-exempt
Reports to: Snap-tite Marketing Manager
Date: September 2, 2025

The Marketing Intern provides hands-on support for Snap-tite Hose sales and marketing projects while learning the fundamentals of industrial marketing in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a student or early-career professional interested in gaining broad experience across digital, event, and content marketing. The intern will contribute to campaign execution, research, and day-to-day coordination efforts that support team goals.

Essential functions:

  • Conduct research on competitors, industry trends, and new marketing opportunities
  • Schedule social media posts and organize digital media assets
  • Assist with trade show and event preparation, including materials and logistics
  • Help maintain internal marketing tools such as spreadsheets, calendars, and reports
  • Support the marketing team with daily administrative tasks and promotional projects

Additional responsibilities:

  • Join team meetings and brainstorming sessions
  • Sit in on international marketing calls when relevant
  • Perform vendor outreach or coordination as needed
  • Gain exposure to CRM management and campaign planning
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather content and insights

Required skills and abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable with social media platforms and Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team setting

Physical demands:

  • Up to 10 lbs of force exerted occasionally.
  • Up to 5lbs frequently.
  • Significant sitting and screen-time.

Required education and experience:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

Preferred education and experience:

  • Prior internship or project experience in marketing, communications, or event planning
  • Familiarity with marketing tools such as Canva, HubSpot, or social media schedulers

Work environment:

  • Office (Erie or Union City) with flexibility for occasional remote work as approved. Occasional travel to events outside of standard hours may be required.
  • Travel to company facilities in Erie and Union City, Pennsylvania is required as needed.
