Health & Human Services STEM Intern

Join our IT Solutions Team as a STEM Intern and collaborate with Business and Systems Analysts to research technology capabilities, document solution requirements, diagnose and resolve technology service incidents, create test scenarios and plans using automated tools like HP ALM, and participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).


Work across the core team verticals to include Workforce Mobility & Access Management, Business Analysis, Business Applications Management, Data and Analytics, and IT Governance and Strategy.

Gain Hands-On Experience in:

  • Mobile device management
  • VMware
  • Telehealth and video conferencing systems
  • Cybersecurity/Access Management
  • Data and analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau, and AI solutions.


Learning Objectives:

  • Develop skills in associated roles: Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Mobile Device Management Support Analyst
  • Conduct systems analysis for IT solutions
  • Manage large business systems in a SaaS cloud environment
  • Learn IT organization processes like Service Desk, IT Service Management, Change Management, Project Management, and Application Lifecycle Management
  • Business Analysts: Gain experience in IT Request Management, IT Work Intake, Business Discovery and Analysis, and IT Governance
  • Data Analysts: Work with Power BI, Tableau dashboards, data transformation, and AI initiatives
    Mobile Device Management Support Analysts: Support Apple, Cisco, and HP mobile and video conferencing products
     

Location: On-site/ In-person at 3432 Virginia Beach BLVD. Virginia Beach, VA.

Required Education: Candidates seeking a degree, preferably a senior, pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Business/Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related fields (e.g., public healthcare, social services, criminal justice).
