Front of House Hospitality

We are a local restaurant that is very involved in our communities, as well as on the big screen. Rodney Scott's Whole Hog BBQ began with a humble man with a big dream - feed the community delicious and traditional Carolina BBQ. His dream has expanded to Netflix's Chef's Table and BBQ Brawl, and on the Great American Barbecue Showdown.

Our tremendous growth gives us many opportunities to hire new family members for multiple positions; front of house hospitality, prep and line cooks, pitmasters, and catering servers. We offer flexible hours for all of our positions, from 5:00 AM - 10:00 PM. Employees are regularly scheduled 6 to 8 hours per shift. We offer part-time and full-time positions. Standard hourly rate is between $18-$22 an hour with tips included. Hourly rates are dependent on the position held.

Front of House Hospitality - Provide excellent service to everyone with a “guest first” mentality. This includes friendly and timely interaction with guests and team members while taking orders, delivering food tableside, and following up with the guest experience. As Rodney likes to say, “Everyone has a seat at our tables”. 

Prep and Line Cooks - We make all of our food in house using fresh ingredients and a lot of love. Our cooks have pride in the process of preparing and serving our good ole family recipes daily. Line Cooks are required to have an eye for detail and ensure the food is being served to the guest hot and in a timely manor. 

Pitmasters - You carry the heaviest load with the most reward! You will learn hot to prep and slow cook all of our delicious meats including our whole hog, pork ribs, brisket, turkey, and chicken. Our BBQ process starts with our well-trained pitmasters, “low and slow” is our motto, and our meats pack a ton of flavor.

Catering Servers - Enthusiastic and reliable hospitality. This position plays a key role in creating positive guest experiences by providing warm, attentive, and professional service for events of all sizes and occasions. From setting up buffets offsite for events, pop up events, and deliveries, we cherish the ability to serve our BBQ to our local communities. Event styles include wedding receptions, graduations, business meetings, birthdays, family reunions, and even events up to 1,500 people.
