Revolutionary War Research Intern

Revolutionary War Research Intern  

Responsibilities  

The intern will perform research on the Revolutionary War. The intern will collaborate with the Programs and Education Team to locate primary sources on topics including people, places, Soldier life and experiences, and military roles. The research will be used to create content that will benefit the Museum’s educational goals centered around the 250th anniversary of the Revolutionary War.  

 

Minimum Qualifications 

Applicants must currently be enrolled in an American history, military history, museum studies, and/or related graduate program or be a recent MA graduate within twelve months of program completion.  

Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills.  

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.  

Proficient in use of computers and software (Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and basic document editing).  

 

At the conclusion of the program interns will: 

Gain experience working in a public history setting.  

Implement research techniques in a real-world setting.
