
Spanish Bilingual Content Development and Marketing Intern
We're seeking a motivated and creative intern to join our team in Washington, D.C. We're building educational materials for newcomer and multilingual learners, and you'll play a key role in the content development process. Your work will focus on visual design, organization, and a deep understanding of the language learning journey. This is a part-time, paid internship with an ASAP start date.
What You'll Do
- Content Development: You'll be the architect of our visual content. This includes creating and editing presentations and digital resources, primarily on Google Slides and Gamma. You'll use AI tools to generate and add compelling images to our materials.
- Project Management: You'll use Asana to help manage project tasks, ensuring our content development process is organized and efficient.
- Marketing: You'll contribute to our marketing efforts, including creating content for our LinkedIn page, website, and preparing resources for conference presentations.
- Branding and Asset Management: You will help codify our branding materials, creating guidelines to ensure consistency across all of our resources.
- Bilingual and Bicultural Editing: Your bilingual Spanish skills will be a great asset in developing and reviewing our multilingual supports within curriculum.
Who We're Looking For
- You're bilingual in Spanish and English.
- You're passionate about education, especially for newcomer and multilingual learners.
- You have an intuitive understanding of where and when students learning English tend to get stuck. This might include common grammatical errors, vocabulary challenges, or cultural nuances.
- You're a detail-oriented individual with an eye for design and consistency.
- You're tech-savvy and comfortable with or ready to learn about new technologies, including AI tools and platforms like Gamma and Lovable.
- You're a self-starter who can manage multiple tasks.
- You're a team player who is excited to contribute to a collaborative environment.
Key Technologies You'll Use
- Gamma: An AI presentation maker and website builder. You will use it to quickly create visually engaging slide decks and resources.
- Google Slides: A core tool for creating and formatting our slide-based curriculum.
- Asana: A project management tool that helps teams organize, track, and manage their work. You will use it to keep track of content development tasks and deadlines.
- Lovable: A platform for building web applications and content.
Compensation
$20 per hour, 10-15 hours per week
