Business Development Intern

As a Business Development Intern, you will work with Ourobio’s leadership team to explore partnerships, develop funding strategies, and support the commercialization of sustainable products and packaging. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about sustainability, high-impact innovation, startups, and corporate strategy.
 

Key Responsibilities

Conduct market research on sustainable materials, emerging bioplastics regulations, and industry trends.

Assist in fundraising efforts, including identifying grants, preparing pitch decks, and engaging with potential investors.

Support business strategy development by analyzing customer needs and market positioning.

Collaborate with the team to develop marketing collateral and partnership proposals.
 

Qualifications

Enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Business, Economics, Environmental Science, or related field.

Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize industry data into actionable insights.

Familiarity with and/or strong interest in leveraging AI tools.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Prior experience with startups, sustainability consulting, or grant writing is a plus.
