Solutions Engineer Intern

JOB SUMMARY:    

The Solutions Engineer Intern works within the IT Solutions group and is involved in all stages of the customer’s development lifecycle and will become experienced giving presentations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Learn how to design and build a SQL Server Database used to collect customer data.

·        Implement bug fixes and code base maintenance semi autonomously.

·        Utilize .Net to develop webapps with guidance from fellow team members.

·        Utilize Power BI to develop data visualizations for applications and reporting from the SQL Server Database.

·        Implement an Azure Function in C# that will communicate between a Web-Front End and a SQL Server Database

·        Produce and present executive briefings, project proposals, and project updates.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•      Currently a rising senior pursuing a BS or BA in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Informatics, Data Science, or related field)

•      Experience with Object-oriented design

•      Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with staff members at all levels of the organization.

•      A passion to serve the customer by learning how to communicate complex ideas and solutions to their business challenges

•      Knowledge of common AI or ML frameworks preferred

•      Must be able to multi-task and prioritize.

•      Must be able to work independently with sustained concentration.

Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 50% of the work period while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, mouse, calculator and similar machines.
